So one of the Big announcements at E3 yesterday was Left 4 Dead 2. The sequel itself wasn't a big surprise, I think the big surprise was that it's going to be in stores this fall. That's only a year after the release of the original.
I'm a bit torn on this one. I'm all for not having to wait for a sequel, but come on Valve, give a guy's wallet a break. I just bought the game last week let me enjoy it a while.
Oh well, even after playing it just a week, it's easy to see the original could use some improvement. I've heard they're adding more Melee style weapons, and some more interactivity with the environments which are both really needed. As fun as Left 4 Dead is, it feels like a game that was a bit rushed. Hopefully L4D2 is everything the first one should have been.
Well if the Left 4 Dead 2 announcement was a shocker, lets say the dead rising 2 trailer was a snoozer. I mean we've already seen way more than this in the previous teaser trailer. Why come to E3 with this kinda weak sauce Capcom? Is it that much to ask for more chainsaws? This is E3 not the freaking splish-splash show.
