Handjob Cabin

I'm pretty sure this is a fake trailer but these days who knows. A couple months ago I actually watched something called Zombeavers, which I know I covered here in the blog but I totally thought was a joke.

Anyway, here's the trailer for Handjob Cabin. It's definitely not as good as Blowjob cabin but it's better than BlueBalls Cabin.

New Boba Fett Trailer... kind of

Some uber-fan out there edited together a bunch of Boba Fett footage from ROTJ, spliced it with some killer cosplay, added a bit of special effect magic, sprinkled the whole thing with love and made a really killer Trailer for the not yet announced, but come on you know it's coming, Boba Fett movie.

I'm not a huge fan of Disney just buying every intellectual property they can get their hands on but in the case of Star Wars how can you not be a fan of what they're doing? This is as excited as I've been about Star Wars since The Admiral Thrawn trillogy blew open the doors to the expanded universe. Anything can happen.

Lego First Person Shooter

This fake game footage is sadly fake. Like super sadly.

I'd pay good money to play a Lego Portal or Lego Skyrim but I'd probably wait for a Steam sale to pick up Lego Bioshock. I'll probably pass on Lego Counterstrike. That game is way to hard.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the 16-bit trailer

These days you can't release a highly anticipated trailer without having someone redo it in Lego or as a 16-bit video game, so here's one for The Force Awakens. I've been playing the Super Star Wars games on the SNES a lot lately (Ok, I've been playing pirated ROMS on my RetroPie but that's like the same thing). Do you have any idea how hard those games are? Man, gamers today are soft and weak-bellied. If you can't save in the middle of a level people freak out, imagine having NO saves and only three lives. Have fun beating Call of Duty now.

Batman V Superman: The Trailer

Sweet Christmas, the new Batman V Superman trailer looks like garbage. Here's a better fan edit that I saw on reddit. I'm not as vehemently anti-The Man of Steel as a few nerds I know but I definitely had some problems with it. From the looks of the trailer it's like they've doubled down on everything I have a problem with. Good grief, thanks for saving the weekend Star Wars.

What if Wes Anderson directed an X-Men movie

Finally the answer to a question no one has ever asked. What would a Wes Anderson directed X-Men movie look like? Spoiler alert: It looks exactly like what you think it would.

Wes Anderson is an interesting director my views on him and Paul Thomas Anderson are pretty much the same. I LOVED their first couple movies and somehow someway have fallen off the bandwagon. I haven't even seen the last couple Wes Anderson movies, I guess that's my loss. I've heard Grand Budapest Hotel is really good. Maybe someday when the kids will leave me alone for a few minutes I'll catch up with all these movies I've missed. So 20 years?

Honest Trailers: Guardians of The Galaxy

You know those guys that do those Honest Trailer things? Well they did one for Guardians of the Galaxy. That might seem like an awkward way to introduce this but honestly what am I supposed to say? It's a funny internet thingy that most everyone is completely familiar with. In fact you've probably already seen this somewhere else. Some blog run by bloggers without families or real jobs or co-workers looking to undermine their Christmas joy at every turn.

Lego Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens Teaser Trailer

It took someone all of 24 hours to recreate the Star Wars Episode VII trailer in Lego. I'm kind of surprised it took that long. If I'm a big time movie studio with one of the most eagerly anticipated trailers of the season in my pocket I'm going to go the extra mile and make a lego trailer all on my own, plus probably a sweeded version. Maybe even one where all the actors have been replaced by Grumpy Cat.

Who ya gonna Call?

Here's a shot for shot remake of the original Ghostbusters trailer done by a group of middle schoolers. It's infinitely better than the Return to Danger Island mini-movie I tried to make while in high school. Me and like a dozen guys filmed the credits and spent the rest of day playing Nintendo. It's probably better off we never finished it. We had too many Joe Laras and not enough Kathy Irelands.

The Walking Drunk

What happens when you replace the opening credits to the Walking Dead with footage of drunk people stumbling around? You get this 43 second youtube video.

This is as good of time as any to write about how much I loved last week's Walking Dead. Woo doggy. I know it's impossible to keep up keep up that sort of pace but if the premiere episode is any sort of indicator to how this season is going to play out it might be their best one yet.

Game of Thrones: An Animated Journey

Hey, here's a Game of Thrones animated thingy I stumbled across the other day. It's kinda neat.

Sorry that's about all I have for the day. I took a mini vacation last week and now I'm both ridiculously behind at work and bored out of my skull. I thought you were supposed to come back from vacation and be all energized. I come back and every hour feels like a hundred. At least I had delicious pork loin leftovers for lunch today. I'm trying this whole thing where I'm not killing myself with fast food 3-4 times a week. Also you have any idea how expensive fast food is getting? I go to McDonalds for a 10 piece nugget meal and it's like $7.50. You know how many Legos that can buy? Plenty my friend.

The Guardians of the Galaxy Lego Trailer

You know the deal, here's a recreation of one of the TV spots for Guardians of the Galaxy done entirely in Lego. It's pretty cool, but I kind of feel like it's a bit of a cop out considering the Official Guardians of the Galaxy Leg sets are already in stores. It's not like they custom made a Groot or Rocket they just opened the box and put it together. I mean it's still impressive....

Hopefully I get out to see GOTG next week. I've heard nothing but rave reviews and I don't want to wait so long that the commercials start spoiling the best parts. Wish me luck!

Literally Everything Else From Your Childhood: The Movie

Another day another fake movie trailer. This one for Literally Everything Else From Your Childhood: The Movie is from the Wil Wheaton project. Anyone watching that show? It's actually pretty funny but it has a weird time slot and I keep missing it. With Dish Network most of the big cable channels are the east coast feed so all the 8pm shows come on at 5pm. It's great for watching wrestling and pretty much terrible for everything else. I'm old so I'm always watching the news at 5pm. I'm always missing South Park and that other show I like on Commedy Central.... Key and Peele? Sure lets say Key and Peele.

Future Batmen

I don't have a lot of time to blog about comic books and toys today so here's a video from FOXADHD on future batman movie castings. I saved it a couple weeks ago so I don't really remember anything about it other than it was funny enough that I bookmarked it. I guess that's something.

Sneak Peak at Star Wars Episode VII filming

Ok, maybe not. Still cool though, right?

New Guardians of the Galaxy Star Wars Trailer

Some enterprising nerd made a trailer for Star Wars that hits all the same beats as the first Guardians of the Galaxy trailer. It's pretty good. I think a solid argument could be made that Hooked on a Feeling makes any trailer at least 50% better.

30 for 30: Brian

Brian Scalabrine is the worst. I can't even enjoy him in an ironic way. That being said I would watch the tar out of this 30 for 30 if it was real.

..thank goodness it's not real.

The Worf of Starfleet

I could care less if this was a spot on parody of the Wolf of Walstreet, I totes want to watch more Star Trek The Next Generation now. On a whim I watched a couple episodes on Amazon Prime the other day and man alive does it hold up well. Some of the special effects are cheezy but not many. The Enterprise still looks slick, and the stories are still top notch.

Screw Firefly, someone needs to bring back STNTG, like right now.

30 for 30: The Space Jam Game

I haven't actually watched this yet but it's so relevant to my interests that I thought I'd go ahead and post it blindly.

BTW, Space Jam is 18 years old. So it's old enough to vote and smoke. My guess is it will vote for someone stupid like Ted Cruz. Thanks a lot Space Jam.

Hell No: The Sensible Horror Film

My favorite thing about October (other than calling it Rocktober) is getting to watch horror movie marathons in the days leading up to Halloween. This trailer for the totally not fake at all movie, Hell No looks pretty good. I imagine it can't be very long, but that's ok. I don't have a lot of time to spend watching movies these days. I'm like 4 episodes behind on Castle.
