Season 6 is Coming

So earlier today HBO released a new trailer for season 6 of Game of Thrones, or as some like to call it the SEASON THAT'S GOING TO RUIN THE BOOKS FOR US!

I'm pretty excited. Some uber nerds were down on Season 5, saying that the further the showrunners get from the source material the worse the show is. I'm not 100% sure that's accurate. The best episode from last season was Hardhome and it was NOTHING like the book. I read the books after the show's first season aired but before I got around to torrenting obtaining it in a totally legal manner. So this will be the first season where I'll have no idea what's about to happen. I think that's cool. Sure my enjoyment of the books might suffer for it, but you know what else makes the enjoyment of the books suffer? Having to wait 37 years between each book.
