This weekend 30,000 people from a community group on Steam are planning to play Half-Life 2. They're doing it to try and get Valve's attention. As you may or may not be aware, Half-Life 2 is going to be 8 years old this year and Valve has been incredibly closed mouthed about a sequel. Considering the last Half-Life expansion, Episode 2, ended with a pretty big cliffhanger this has become a sort of sore spot with fans of the series.The group isn't specifically asking for a sequel, they just want to know if they'll ever see one. Which seems pretty reasonable and a great excuse to play Half-Life 2 again.
