Military service is always dangerous. You hit it square in the black, Sniper. Randy left legions of fans to mourn him. Meanwhile the men and women who stand the watch so he and they can enjoy their sports do so in anonymity. When they die, and they all too frequently do on both peacetime and wartime, it’s a small circle that sees them off, though all of us who have worn the uniform mourn with them.
