I'm a big fan of soccer teams trying something really tricky and failing horribly. Here's Portugal's under 21 team blowing an easy PK to Cape Verde, followed by a couple of examples of how to do it right. The last one is super sick.

Why would you screw with a PK? The average shooting percentage is 82%, is that not good enough?
Cool study on PKs: http://scienceblogs.com/mixingmemory/2007/04/the_science_of_goalkeeping.php
My name is Kevin and I blog, mostly about nerdy stuff. I'm old enough to know that Gobots came before Transformers and geeky enough to care.
If you have something cool or nerdy you just have to share, e-mail me at kevin @ devildinosaur.com
