Gundog!

When I went on vacation this week I planned on posting at least one thing a day. Of course that was before I started reading Ready Player One. Damn that's a good book.

So please accept my apology in the form of this fake movie trailer for Gundog! The dog with a gun.

Yipee ki Yay mother legoer

If I had to name my favorite Christmas movie from the 80s I'd go with Gremlins. Of course I've never seen a fake commercial for a knockoff Lego Gremlin playset.

Your move Joe Dante.

Kindle Fire; my new comic book reader, the Review

Smartly, my wife completely ignored my official DevilDinosaur Christmas Wish List (patent pending) and along with her parents, bought me a Kindle Fire. Now I'm a tech guy, but I'm not a TECH guy. I couldn't tell you how the fire stacks up against a nook or an iPad so I'm going to skip even attempting any sort of traditional review. However, I do plan on reading a lot of comic books on the Fire so I thought I'd talk about how it stacks up as a device solely for reading comics.

Since Christmas I've only been able to use the Fire for a few hours. As you can tell in the picture above, my son keeps high jacking it to play Angry Birds. I spent the first hour or two just going through all the preloaded apps, adjusting settings and loading up the essentials like Netflix. After that I buried myself in the comixology app (which is preloaded).

The app itself is quick to load, and pretty easy to navigate. Featured books are on the front page and there's a tab for just added and popular books. There's also a search feature that's simple enough. It's nowhere near as rewarding as scanning through books at a shop, but it's not bad. If you know what you want you'll find it quickly but if you're looking to browse you'll really only see the most popular comics like Batman, the Avengers, or the Walking Dead.

There are a lot of free books available to download but I found the selection a bit lacking. Most of the full issues are at least a year old and considering the recent changes in the Marvel and DC universes, the freebies from the big 2 were ridiculously out of date. Still, there were cool books to be had, like Invincible #1 or GI Joe: Cobra #1.

For me, price is still the biggest disappointment. I like that Marvel and DC have decided they're going to publish books day and date, but keeping the digital versions at cover price seems out of touch. At full price I can either read the digital version which at some point I know I'll have to delete due to storage issues or I can go buy the paper version and keep it forever. Hell, if I'm lucky it might even be worth something some day. Like a lot of comic nerds, I'm a collector. Knowing that the digital issues are temporary is a hard pill for me to swallow. It would be much easier with a spoon full of low price point (99 cents!).

The experience of actually reading comics on the Fire has been the biggest surprise so far. I like it, a lot. The screen resolution is great, colors are nice and vivid. The fire is a bit too small to be able to read an entire comic page on one screen but the comixology app has a couple of zoom features. The one I like the best allows you to read a page one panel at a time. You definitely lose something in the composition of the page by reading a comic this way, but you can always zoom back out with just a couple taps. It's not perfect, but it's a lot better than I thought it would be. The comixology app even has some slick transitions from panel to panel that gives some sequences a real cinematic effect.

Amazon has an exclusivity deal with DC comics to publish a bunch of their trade paperbacks on Kindle. For the most part these trades cost 9.99, which isn't a bad price break. You're saving about 5 dollars on average. I have yet to use the native comic reader on the Fire (since it costs more scrilla), hopefully it works as well as the comixology one. The big downside here is that Marvel has decided to put all it's eggs in the Nook basket. You can find plenty of single issues from Marvel on the comixology app, but you can't find any trades in the regular Amazon marketplace.

It's way too early for me to come out with some sort of final verdict for the Kindle Fire as it relates to reading comics. However, so far the experience has been very impressive. It by no means is going to cut back on my time at the comic book shop, but in the long run it might save me a couple dollars on some titles I was on the fence about.

Christmas List: A Nintendo 64

It's the day before Christmas and we've finally come to a stop on the official DevilDinosaur Christmas Wish List (patent pending). I couldn't think of a better way to close out this exercise in blogging (and padding page views) than with this famous clip of the N64 freak out kid.

In a way, all of us has a Nintendo 64 we're wishing for. For some, an iPad might be their N64. For others, a good education might be their N64. For us, El Guapo is a big, dangerous man who wants to kill us. But as sure as my name is Lucky Day, the people of Santa Poco can conquer... sorry that quote kind of got away from me there.

I guess what I'm getting at is Merry Christmas!

The Dark Knight Rises gets sweded

I guess sweding trailers is a thing now. They did it with the Avengers trailer and now they've done it to the Dark Knight Rises Trailer. Personally, I can't wait to see what they do with the Prometheus trailer.

Is it weird that the process of sweding something has become 1000 times more popular that the movie Be Kind Rewind that inspired it? Yeah, I guess not.

It's a festivus miracle!

Christmas List: Boba Fett Hat

Every day in December I plan on posting one thing from my official DevilDinosaur Christmas Wish List (patent pending). Why? Because I can.

Did you know 90 percent of your heat loss is through your head? Really, you did? Because I'm pretty sure I just made that up. Oh well. It's cold out and you should cover your dome. I can't think of a better way to stay warm and look super geeky than with this Boba Fett knit beanie.

It's kinda pricey at 40 dollars, but If you really loved me you would save your cash and start knitting right now.

The day before the day before the day before links

Gaming's biggest joys and disappointments of 2012. Good list. For me the biggest gaming disappointment was easily Dead Island. That trailer was soo amazing. When I finally saw a walk through of the gameplay I knew it wasn't going to live up to the hype. Too bad.

The man who told the internet he came from the future. Very interesting article about a man named John Titor who appeared on the web in the late 90s and claimed he was from the future. I mean no one really believed him but it's still an interesting read. In a related story I finally saw Hot Tub Time Machine. That was a pretty good movie, way better than I expected.

How to break out of a car's trunk. Good info to know in case you ever travel in South America.

Kate Upton is dating Mark Sanchez. Or she isn't, does anyone on the internet really care? I hear she was spotted at a nets game, she must be dating Kris Humphries too!

Prometheus Trailer, Death Blow edition.

I have no idea why studios insist on premiering trailers for highly anticipated movies in theaters a couple days before they put them up on the web? Seriously it's like they want us to pirate their trailers or something.

Anyhoo, here's the trailer for Ridley Scott's Alien prequel/not prequel Prometheus. Remember in Alien when they spelunked down into the cave with all the eggs and there was this giant looking dead alien thing in a chair? This movie is supposed to be about them, not about the actual Aliens. Or course that hasn't stopped rumors that people have been seen on the set in the traditional Alien costume. Either way the movie looks cool.

...and that took roughly 2 hours to get pulled down. here's a better non-death blow version.

Christmas List: X-Wing Pilot Hoodie

Every day in December I plan on posting one thing from my official DevilDinosaur Christmas Wish List (patent pending). Why? Because I can.

OMG, look at this thing. How pimp would I be strutting around town in this X-Wing Pilot Hoodie by Marc Ecko? Very pimp, the answer is very pimp.

I'm not fighting crime in this

Christmas List: Bag of Holding

Every day in December I plan on posting one thing from my official DevilDinosaur Christmas Wish List (patent pending). Why? Because I can.

I used the picture of Think Geek's awesome bag of holding messenger bag but I'm really referring to a real bag of holding. Come on science get off your butt. Even the shortest trips with my toddler can feel like an expedition to the north poll. You have to carry diapers, snacks, an extra change of clothes, toys, a bottle for him and daddy. All that stuff can get pretty unwieldy.

That's why I need a magic bag. Seriously why isn't anyone working on this!

The Hobbit trailer

Hold onto your mithril chainmail 'cause here's the trailer for the first Hobbit movie, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. The movie doesn't hit theaters until December of 2012, so there will be plenty of time for me to complain about all the changes they made to the book, or how it's being shot in ulta obnoxious 3d (seriously they're still doing that?). Right now lets just focus on how awesome this looks.

Merry Christmas You Scruffy, Old Nerf Herder!

Live Action Gauntlet – The Holiday Edition

A bunch of nerds I'm not really familiar with put together this video of Gauntlet in Real life, at a Christmas party, a bad sweater Christmas party. It's pretty cool.

I have a real love hate relationship with the game gauntlet. At Expo '86 in Vancouver I blew all my allowance in like 15 minutes playing Gauntlet. That was the worst. The rest of the trip I was that kid just wistfully watching all the kids with quarters playing games. Every once in a while I would check the coin return slots for spare quarters... man, Canda sucks.

Christmas List: Bash Unbreakable Sledge Hammer

Every day in December I plan on posting one thing from my official DevilDinosaur Christmas Wish List (patent pending). Why? Because I can.

December is a great time to stock up on your Zombie/Robot killing tools. The aptly-named Bash Unbreakable Sledge Hammer ($40-$160) boasts a steel-cored handle that prevents breakage, a high-visibility, drop-forged head that's flat on the end to allow it to stand upright, a textured grip, a safety plate that firmly locks the head in place to eliminate dislodging, an anti-vibration neck, and a lanyard hole on the end to secure the hammer to your wrist.

Basically this thing will f-up some zombies and never needs to be reloaded. Plus your arms will totally get ripped swinging this thing around.

The Dark Knight Rises Trailer

Hooray for the Youtubes! It took about 6 hours but the internet finally has a nice embeddable copy of the new Dark Knight Rises Trailer. It looks pretty cool, however Bane's mask looks pretty stupid and Catwoman's we are the 99% speech comes across as hollow. Anne Hathaway just looks like a spoiled college kid, if they were going to have Catwoman be some sort of social activist they probably should have picked an actress with more gravitas.

Still, Alfred's plea to Bruce Wayne was killer, and the explosion at the Football game looked really cool. I'm more of a Marvel guy, but I'm WAY more excited to see this than I am the Avengers. Go Figure

Take it down a notch, will you buddy?

I'm not sure what happened, but sometime after he left Saturday Night Live and made that awful Red Sox movie with Drew Barrymore, Jimmy Fallon actually became funny. For proof I'll give you last weekends Saturday night Live. While this Tebow sketch doesn't actually have him in it, SNL was pretty solid all the way around.

I don't know how it came to this, but if given the option between watching Late Night with Jimmy Fallon or Conan, I'll probably watch Fallon. Seriously, how did that happen?

Christmas List: Life sized Millenium Falcon

Every day in December I plan on posting one thing from my official DevilDinosaur Christmas Wish List (patent pending). Why? Because I can.

this picture from Travisty's Beard pretty much says it all.

Freddie Wong's Battlefield 3 commercial

EA asked youtube master Freddie Wong to make them a Battlefield 3 commercial. The asked the commercial specifically show off one of the things you can do in Battlefield that you can't do in Call of Duty.

I think he hit the nail on the head. Weird teamwork/vehicle moments like this are on the reasons I love Battlefield 3. It's certainly not because I'm good at the game. The guys I was playing with last night can attest to how much I suck. I believe at one point my exact quote was "I'm not very good with the guns".

Christmas List: Lost Swan Station Playset

Every day in December I plan on posting one thing from my official DevilDinosaur Christmas Wish List (patent pending). Why? Because I can.

I don't care if this Lost playset isn't for sale, or that the finale was pretty awful. I just want to sit back crack open a couple of Dharma brews and listen to some tunes with Locke and Sayid. Maybe we'll torture Benjamin Linus, I haven't decided yet.

Christmas List: The Perfect Christmas Card

Every day in December I plan on posting one thing from my official DevilDinosaur Christmas Wish List (patent pending). Why? Because I can.

Now that my wife and I have a kid we're feeling the pressure to put together one of those family picture Christmas cards. Actually, she's feeling the pressure. I put pictures of my kid up on facebook all the time, why get the Post Office involved?

Now, if next year we do get our act together before December 13th and put together a Christmas card I hope hope hope it's something cool like the one above and not something lame like us wearing a bunch of ugly sweaters. Maybe we could take one of my kid wrestling a bear. Or a bunch of bears in ugly sweaters. Quick, someone get me Jack Hanna on the phone!

Shoot those Links

How to hire an in-game body guard, and why you should. This is brilliant. Games like Call of Duty and Battlefield can be really really intimidating and frustrating when you start playing them on-line. A couple teenagers saw this problem and are offering up their services to help you play the game for a couple bucks and hour.

It's brilliant but also exposes the biggest flaw of these games, their inaccessibility to casual gamers. I think gamemakers could solve this if they tweaked how you leveled up and had servers that match you better with players your skill level. This is what you should be working on Loren.

Fantasy Armor and Lady Bits. Interesting article about women's armor from a guy that actually makes armor for a living. Believe it or not, he doesn't think Red Sonja's plate mail is all that effective.

10 Chilling, Super Nerdy Snowmen. I really hope it snows this year. I live at the bottom of this kick ass sledding hill and would love to take my son out sledding.

The Day mankind swallowed the globe. This week marked the 100th anniversary of mankind landing on the south pole. Well not really landing, I mean they took a dog sled there. Whatever, it's a cool story.

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter: the poster

It's hard these days to get excited for a movie over just a poster. However when that poster has Abraham Lincoln looking all bad ass like he just chopped up a bunch of sparkly vampires, I get pretty excited.

I never did read Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, I did read Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, which was good but didn't really leave me with the desire to read more goofy monsters in history books. Maybe if I do get a kindle for Christmas I'll download it on the cheap.

New Ghost Rider trailer is kinda meh

The first trailer for the Ghost Rider sequel was pretty interesting in a Ghost Rider peeing hellfire kinda way. This new trailer is pretty boring in a Nic Cage talks about redemption and demons instead of screaming about bees and punching women in the face kinda way.

Still it's something to watch. What, would you rather do real work instead?

Curse of the Links

'Tarot: Witch of the Black Rose' Gets Bitten on Her Ladyparts. Jim Balent used to be known for his solid 100 issue run on Catwoman. Now he's known for the most ridiculous sex comics ever. Seriously this SFW review of Tarot #70 is hilarious.

The 25 Funniest Family Christmas Portraits. My wife and I thought about doing a family portrait card this year, but bailed on it due to finances. I guess it's for the best, no way we could have topped this occupy card.

Chyna is a professional escort now. Let that marinate in your mind grapes for a minute. In a related story you can now hire Francine from ECW to do you taxes and hit you over the head with a chair. Her rates are reasonable.

10 great cars from the Edmonds worst 100 cars list. Growing up someone on our dock (yeah I lived on a boat, deal with it) drove a Volvo 262C. Next to my dad's 1982 corvette it was the coolest car in the parking lot. In fact it might still be stuck in the parking lot...

Christmas List: 22-Inch Baroness

Every day in December I plan on posting one thing from my official DevilDinosaur Christmas Wish List (patent pending). Why? Because I can.

If you have an extra $350 burning a hole in your pocket I'd be ever so grateful if you bought me this 22 inch G.I. Joe Premium Format Figure Baroness figure. The hand-finished figure features a fabric costume, a sidearm holster with an 1911 .45 caliber pistol, an AR Assault Rifle, and a Sideshow Exclusive: an additional hand with MAC-10 Machine Pistol for alternate display.

I have a pretty cool toy collection in my office at work. I think this would go great next to my 12" inch Dr. Doom...

Superheroes encourage you to check for lumps

Why is She-Hulk giving herself a breast exam, for science! And education, I guess. Why is the wall behind her blowing up while she's giving herself a breast exam? I have no idea, maybe it's the Mole Man?

Held this year from December 5-10, Mozambique Fashion Week is an annual fashion and cultural event hosted by African nation's capital city of Maputo. In addition to MFW's mission to promote the creativity and beauty of the Mozambican people, the event includes a social responsibility component that specifically targets the subject of breast cancer, which is of course an enduring threat that affects millions and millions of women around the world. For this year's campaign, MFW partnered with Associação da Luta Contra o Cancer to create a series of breast cancer screening advertisements that feature the comic book superheroines Wonder Woman, She-Hulk, Storm and Catwoman.

~ comicsalliance

This sounds pretty reasonable to me. When you think about it She-Hulk got her powers from Gamma Radiation. If I were her I'd get an MRI every morning with my Latte.

the rest of the exam pics after the jump

A gift for an idiot Megatron

Seriously, how stupid is Megatron? He finds a Kre-O (more on that later) Bumblebee underneath his Christmas tree and he decides the best thing to do is put it together? Why not punch yourself in the nuts? I don't know who looks worse in this video, Megatron for being so stupid or the Autobots for not having killed Megatron yet. Seriously, just Fed-Ex him a giant gun, odds are he'll shoot his own head off.

BTW, have you seen these Kre-O things? I've been to the toy store a lot this Christmas (yet I still haven't bought my kid anything) and the Kre-O transformers toys are everywhere. They're the shasta cola of Legos. They even say on the box "works with the leading brand of blocks". They should change the name of them to Not-Lego.

Congratulations on your big hooters

I love local news, have I told you that recently?

Here we have Johnny McReporter "mistakenly" telling Sally McNewcaster congratulations on the big boobs. I'm telling you Charlie Brown, this is what the Christmas season is all about.

Christmas List: A Calvin and Hobbes reboot

Every day in December I plan on posting one thing from my official DevilDinosaur Christmas Wish List (patent pending). Why? Because I can.

Just because Bill Watterson's classic Calvin and Hobbes ended years and years ago doesn't mean it's forgotten. DeviantArt User Kizer180 created this awesome piece that imagines Calvin and Hobbes as a kick ass buddy cops fighting crime, shooting guns, exploding things... doing other cool stuff buddy cops do.

It's so silly it's awesome, and I want it in a hardback collected edition asap.

Going back to Karkand.. Karkand.. Karkand

Earlier today the new Back to Karkand expansion pack for Battlefield 3 was released to 360 and PC users. Those evil PS3 bastards got the expansion last week. I'm really torn over this. I know I'll leave work early today to play this, but how early should I leave? 2pm? 3pm? Half an hour ago? Decisions, decisions...

Christmas List: A GI Joe movie that doesn't suck

Every day in December I plan on posting one thing from my official DevilDinosaur Christmas Wish List (patent pending). Why? Because I can.

I'm a little late with today's pick. I saw this trailer for the new GI Joe movie late last night and I knew I wanted to bump the gift I already had queued up. Now I know the last GI Joe movie sucked balls, but oh man does this trailer for the sequel have my hopes up.

Seriously, Ninjas fighting on the side of a mountain. How can you not love that?

Friendly Bear is Friendly

Here's what looks like a Grizzly (his head looks to big to be a brown bear) waving to some people on one of those drive through safari things. He thinks he's people.

True Story, when my son says "bear" he pronounces it "beeeeeer" it's the cutest thing I've ever heard.

The Links Ends

The Dark Knight Rises gets a poster. I just read the novelization of the Batman: No Man's Land storyline by Chuck Dixon (yeah I'm that kind of nerd), and man I've never been more excited to see Bane on the big screen. I'm not the biggest bat-nerd in the world so I've really only known Bane from his cartoon and video game appearances. He is an excellent character, and I'm hoping he doesn't get lost in the Catwoman shuffle.

The 9 greatest Nerd Fears Today. One of these is that your kid will end up loving the Star Wars Prequels more than the original trilogy... oh man that hits home. This Halloween I had two different kids dressed as clone troopers ask me who I was dressed up as. I'm Han Solo you little anklebitter, no candy for you!

New Amazing Spider-Man trailer. I know, games based on movies like this usually suck but I'm going to go ahead and get my hopes up anyway. The graphics look sick, if they gameplay is just halfway decent this might be worth a look.

Half-Life 3 Confirmed OMG! Ok, so Valve isn't confirming Half-Life 3 but they're teasing the hell out of it. Diablo 3 and Half-Life 3 in 2012? Looks like it's time to put together a new gaming rig.

Christmas List: mad rap skillz

Every day in December I plan on posting one thing from my official DevilDinosaur Christmas Wish List (patent pending). Why? Because I can.

We're in the home stretch so I thought I'd go with something a bit more esoteric. I really wish I had the skills to bust fat rhymes. Sometimes I think of all the nerdcore guys like Frontalot, Beefy, or YTCracker and man do I yearn to join their ranks. Yes I said Yearn.

I already have a sweet MC named lined up: MC Hammer. What do you mean that's taken already? Since when?

Battleship still looks craptacular

Here's the second trailer for the movie based on the boardgame Battleship that features space aliens and no battleships ('cause the navy doesn't use them anymore). It really looks awful, I mean it's shiny and loud and the CG looks nice but it's still awful.

How hard would it have been to make this about a WWII battle? Seriously, a Master and Commander style WWII movie would have been awesome. No surprise this is from the same people that brought you Devestator's Balls.

Christmas List: Han Solo Chocolate Bar

Every day in December I plan on posting one thing from my official DevilDinosaur Christmas Wish List (patent pending). Why? Because I can.

Set your phasers to "yum" with the official Carbonite-Frozen Han Solo Chocolate Bar. Like many people, one of my favorite parts of Christmas morning is gorging myself on stocking candy. I especially love the green apple flavored licorice my mom always finds. Man that stuff is the best.

Anyhoo, this Han Solo candy bar is beyond awesome and worthy of any stocking, but I have one question. Is the girl making the candy look better or is the candy making the girl look better? Chicken and Egg man..

Christmas List: Lego Ornaments

Every day in December I plan on posting one thing from my official DevilDinosaur Christmas Wish List (patent pending). Why? Because I can.

This weekend we're kicking things off with something a bit more practical, Lego Ornaments! Because my son is a angry toddler beast when he doesn't get a keekoo (cookie), our Christmas Tree is currently ornament free. However, maybe next year we'll get some of these Lego Ornaments.

I wonder if you can get them in Duplo size?

Caroling with Yoda

So Community was pretty good last night

Last night was probably the last time you'll see community on NBC. I guess if you're going to go out, it's best to go out on a high. Seriously, it was maybe the best single episode of a show I've seen since Bobby Hill got Gout. If you missed it get to the Hulus.

Christmas List: Missle Silo House

Every day in December I plan on posting one thing from my official DevilDinosaur Christmas Wish List (patent pending). Why? Because I can.

Hang onto your butts cause today we have a Luxury Apocalypse Survival House Built On Top Of Cold War-Era Missile Silo. It's been a long time dream of mine to have some sort of kooky house and a cold war era missile silo definitely rates high on the kooky list. Plus it's practical, Zombie robots are coming why not hide underground?

Obi-Wan is the worst teacher ever

Angry Birds: The Movie is better than you'd think

.. and that's probably because this is a fake Angry Birds the movie trailer, made by the same people that brought you Snatch, except not really.

Lets face it, sooner or later there will be a real Angry Birds movie. If you had your choice between this or Kevin James rescuing birds from a crooked zoo, which would you choose?

Christmas List: Trithon REYN TV by Leon

Every day in December I plan on posting one thing from my official DevilDinosaur Christmas Wish List (patent pending). Why? Because I can.

Today we're kicking it old school with the new school with the "Trithon" REYN TV by Leon. I know this is really a $35,000 art piece and not a practical TV but I don't care, It's just so pretty. One day I hope to be able to afford one of those really swank libraries with old style leather chairs, a fancy globe/bar and mahogany bookshelves. When I can, I'm buying this TV.

The Avengers vs The X-men

Set the wayback machine to 1987 because the Avengers are fighting the X-men again. Yesterday Marvel made a big announcement that next summer they're big event will be a 12 issue bi-weekly mini called Avengers Vs X-men.

Now the Avengers and the X-Men have fought before, a lot in fact. I mentioned 1987 because that's when the two teams "first" collided in a 4 issue mini called X-Men Vs The Avengers. In fact it's kind of a given that in any comic you read where two superhero groups show up in the same book, they start fighting. This time the beef has to do with the return of the Phoenix Force, and lets face it probably Jean Grey.

It's being written by a couple of my favorite writers (and Brian Michael Bendis) plus the artists are solid so I'm sure I'll give it a chance. If for nothing else than I really want to see Iceman clean Hawkeye's clock.

Batman has issues

I know this Digital Short from last weeks Saturday Night Live has already made the rounds this week, but I didn't want to post it until I found a non-hulu version. Seriously this is the year 2011, I'm not watching video clips with commercials in them, what is this Russia?

BTW, Steve Buscemi would have made an AMAZING Commissioner Gordon.

Christmas List: AT-ST tree fort

Every day in December I plan on posting one thing from my official DevilDinosaur Christmas Wish List (patent pending). Why? Because I can.

This morning I'm bringing sexy back with this unbelievably awesome
AT-ST Tree Fort. Seriously, I have trees, I have plywood, I have kids, why don't I have this awesome Tree Fort?

It's because I spend too much time playing Battlefield 3 isn't it?

Modern Warfare 3, staring Ghost

Apparently Ghost from Modern Warfare 2 didn't make the cut for Modern Warfare 3. I'm still praying to the god of Battlefield 3 and as such haven't seen or played any MW3, so I don't really care that much. However, Ghost was plenty pissed as this fan-film shows.

How X-Men: First Class Should Have Ended

Christmas List: Nissan Juke-R

Every day in December I plan on posting one thing from my official DevilDinosaur Christmas Wish List (patent pending). Why? Because I can.

Today's lustful wish is the Nissan Juke-R. A one-off build, the Juke-R takes Nissan's ugly ass crossover my wife won't even let me look at and crams a 485 hp, twin-turbo V6 — taken from the Nissan GT-R — under its hood. It also has a matte black paint job, bigger rims, breaks and suspension which means it probably handles like Toad in Mariocart.

High Fiving Links

The 45 Most Powerful Images of 2011. Most of these pictures are heartbreaking. I swear I almost cried at the one of the dog laying at the feet of his owners coffin. That's why I went with high fivin' GI Jane (worst GI Joe action figure ever).

10 collecting fads worth next to nothing now. Every once in a while I run into someone who collected comics in the 90s. They almost always ask me if their Spawn #1 is worth anything.

Starship Troopers is getting a reboot. BOOOOOOO! Why not reboot the Godfather or Gone With the Wind while you're at it? Also is Casper Van Dien really that short?

RoboCop joins the cast of Star Trek II. I know they're talking about the actor Petter Weller but man how cool would it be if it was actually RoboCop? It couldn't be worse than the time he showed up to save Sting on WCW.

Christmas List: Mossberg just in case kit

Every day in December I plan on posting one thing from my official DevilDinosaur Christmas Wish List (patent pending). Why? Because I can.

Lets kick the week off with a 12 guage bang. The Mossberg just in case kit features a 12 gauge Mossberg 500 Pump-Action shotgun inside a re-sealable clear bag, inside a waterproof synthetic carrying tube which also holds gear like a "Survival Kit in a Can" and a multi-tool and serrated knife combo pack.

Now I'll be honest, as much as I want this, I'm not big on having a shotgun without a stock as your sole survival weapon. Shotguns are harder to aim than you'd think. You really want to get teabagged by the undead because you can't shoot from the hip?

I'm getting force choked for sure

Christmas List: Cryptek USB Drive

Every day in December I plan on posting one thing from my official DevilDinosaur Christmas Wish List (patent pending). Why? Because I can.

Stop worrying about hiding your porn stash, here comes the cryptek USB drive! This hardcore portable drive features a precision-crafted aluminum mechanical lock that offers up 14,348,907 possible combinations that you can customize to keep your data concealed in 256-bit AES Hardware Encryption.

I guess you could put other stuff on it other than porn, like enemy lists and secret treasure maps...

..tax documents! you could put tax documents on it too.

Christmas List: Wyndham Dual Beverage Dispenser

Every Day in December I plan on posting on thing from my official DevilDinosaur Christmas Wish List (patent pending). Why? Because I can.

Today's object of holiday desire is the Wyndham HouseTM Dual Beverage Dispenser Backpack. I can't tell you how many times I've been drinking Pilsner from my cammelback when I get a huge craving for a nice hard cider. The Wyndham gives you a yard of two delicious beverages of your choice. Loren, I'd recommend Miller Light and Bud Light.
