It's the gal from Portal vs the guy from Half-Life, to the death, finally! I guess.. I don't know. Are these battle videos something that really interest people? It's like 2 weeks old and it doesn't have a million hits yet so I'm going to say not really. The thing I found most interesting about it is how well the special effects are done. I'll bet this whole video was put together by less than a dozen people and it looks pretty darn good. Like action movie from the late 90s good, or Action TV show from the early 2000s good. Computers man, is there anything they can't do?

Oh Team Fortress Classic... so many hours. So many hours.
This episode of Did You Know Gaming takes a look at Team Fortress 2. Now I'll freely admit, I've played TF2 for a total of like 30 minutes but I've played hours and hours of Team Fortress Classic, so I was very excited to see this video. I'm not gonna front, TFC had it's problems but it's still one of my favorite games ever. My glasses might be a bit rose colored as it was the first game I ever really played on-line with a decent high speed internet connection.
I never did get into TF2. By the time I picked it up on the 360 it was already 3 years old so the on-line community was pretty stout. I remember being really frustrated with finding servers and getting my ass whooped all the time. Still, it was easily my most anticipated game of 1999.

I'm not 100% sure this is the game changer the internet is making it out to be or if this is just away for Valve to push Steam onto smart TVs and Roku like devices.

My guess is that if Superman/Batman is successful DC will roll out most of the Justice League in a similar fashion. A Batman movie with Green Arrow in it. A Superman movie with Wonder Woman. A team up movie with Flash and Batman and Green Lantern.. Essentially they're too scared to have another Green Lantern flop on their hands soeverything will be tied to one of the two successes they've had in the last decade.

Check out this trailer for Half Life 3: Enter the Freeman. Jk, it's a kick ass Half Life fan film. Man you should have seen the look on your face.
It was made over a weekend for a little over $3,000, which is pretty amazing when you think about it. Clerks cost something like $27,000 and it didn't have a single headcrab. Seriously though, this thing starts out a little slow but it is awesome.

The group isn't specifically asking for a sequel, they just want to know if they'll ever see one. Which seems pretty reasonable and a great excuse to play Half-Life 2 again.

There have been 4 Resident Evil movies and not one Half-Life movie? Think about it. Is there any video game better suited for the big screen? Alien invasions, scientific experiments gone awry, vast government conspiracies? It's got summer blockbuster staring Will Smith written all over it.
Someone start working on it, stat.
