Your standard Nerf gun is pretty great if you're pretending hunting small dogs or small people but what if you need to Nerf an elephant? For that you need a Nerf gun the size of a Vespa. But where do you find a gun that big? Well it just so happens some guys on Youtube made one. I guess you could steal if from them. Just watch out, they have a huge Nerf gun.

First off, thank goodness the cops stopped them. There's zero way this wouldn't have ended without some innocent bystander getting shot. Second, cops can pull you over for a cracked windshield? What is this Soviet Russia?

Archer premieres its 5th season in January, in celebration (ie. effort to drum up viewers) FX has been releasing these ISIS Orientation videos. This one about gun safety is probably my favorite. Call me old fashioned but there's something about guns and alcohol that just feels right.

Lets say you've decided to throw together a Han Solo costume for a convention/last minute costume party because you already have a vest and some cool blue pants. Well that's great and all but if you've going to go all it you're going to need a DL-44 blaster. So it's a good thing Adam Savage and Norm Chan are here to show you how to do it.

We Have Taco Cannon
Some Taco place in Austin has invented a Taco Cannon. As in a cannon that shoots tacos. Unfortunately much like Big Foot or the Loch Ness Monster finding good youtube footage of the Taco Cannon is neigh impossible. Pictures are easy to find though, so here are some pictures. Now someone shoot me with a Taco!

Gas stations don't really make money on gas. Not only is this a great article on the economics of a gas station, in the comments section you'll find a terrific discussion on gas prices as a whole. Spoilers, every politician ever is lying to you about the price of gas.
The 7 Best Western-Themed Sci-Fi TV episodes. Is there anything better than sci-fi set in the old west? What? Cowboys and Aliens? Never heard of it.
Microsoft plans to further monetize xbox live users. So this rumor thing hit the web that in the 4th quarter of 2012 Microsoft is rolling out a plan to "further monetize" xbox live. No details or anything, just a vague reference in someone's linkedin profile. I can't believe there's so much outrage. You don't have to pay for xbox live you know. I'd rather have the option of paying a little more for xbox live than Microsoft just arbitrarily jacking up the prices on consoles or games.
Disguised Weapons Dealer on Craigslist. Oh man this is epic trolling. It's hard to describe what went on here, just click the link and enjoy the funny.Monday, January 2, 2012

That's right 2012 doesn't just mark the end of the world (thanks for nothing Mayans), it also marks the end of my 3rd year of blogging. I'd like to say I've been working on this year end round up the entire week I was off, but I'd rather not turn this into a blog of lies. A blog of flies maybe. In fact if the visits keep dropping a blog of flies sounds like a step up.
So without further ado here are the 10 most popular posts of the year (which in the end is completely meaningless given that the front page is still the single most popular destination).
WTF Eddie Van Halen. When I heard Van Halen was going back on tour with David Lee Roth this summer, I couldn't help but think of this post. Seriously, WTF Eddie?
Joseph Gordon Levitt should play the Joker. The wild JGL/Rise of the Dark Knight casting speculation was very good for me. So good this other post about him playing the Joker also finished in the top 10 this year.
Is Lindsay Lohan playing Supergirl? This post is only popular because of google image searches for Diora Baird. I figured why mess with a good thing on my year end recap?
The Ron Swanson Pyramid of Greatness. This year saw a lot of really great characters on TV and Ron Swanson was easily the manliest of the manly. His pyramid/manifesto was perfect.
Comic-Con Cosplay; Special achievement in hotness edition. Here's the lesson I learned this year: If you're going to do cosplay round ups put the word hot in them.
Generic Robots Fighting Part 3. Out of all the movie trailers I put up this year, this one for Transformers 3 was in my top 10? That is depressing as hell.
Dog Fort. I jumped on the Dog Fort bandwagon super late and he still finished near the top. Entertainment Weekly should have named Lobster Dog the entertainer of the year.
Amy Pond knows how to party. Karen Gillan, who plays Amy Pond on Doctor Who, was found passed out drunk and naked in a hotel hallway. How is it no one had a camera phone? Where did this happen, 1997?
Even more Cosplay from this year's Emerald City Comic Con. Ok, so it looks like you don't need to add the word Hot to your Cosplay round ups to get a little Google love. All you really need are Fetts.
Thunderwear: the sexy holster. It's a holster that fits in your underwear. It's also the most DevilDinosaur thing on this years top 10.
Oh yeah one more fun thing. Here are the top ten keywords bringing new people to the site this year. eddie van halen, nicole scherzinger hot, diora baird, harley quinn cosplay, joseph gordon-levitt, the rock, crotch gout, glen plake, joseph gordon-levitt joker, ron swanson.
That's right.. Crotch Gout. Good thing I'm still suffering from it, I see 2012 being a big year for Crotch Gout.

When I went on vacation this week I planned on posting at least one thing a day. Of course that was before I started reading Ready Player One. Damn that's a good book.
So please accept my apology in the form of this fake movie trailer for Gundog! The dog with a gun.

Christmas List: Mossberg just in case kit
Every day in December I plan on posting one thing from my official DevilDinosaur Christmas Wish List (patent pending). Why? Because I can.Lets kick the week off with a 12 guage bang. The Mossberg just in case kit features a 12 gauge Mossberg 500 Pump-Action shotgun inside a re-sealable clear bag, inside a waterproof synthetic carrying tube which also holds gear like a "Survival Kit in a Can" and a multi-tool and serrated knife combo pack.
Now I'll be honest, as much as I want this, I'm not big on having a shotgun without a stock as your sole survival weapon. Shotguns are harder to aim than you'd think. You really want to get teabagged by the undead because you can't shoot from the hip?

Thunderwear: the sexy holster

Ladies and Gentlemen, I bring you Thunderwear (patent pending). The holster that doubles as underwear. Well actually it doesn't double as underwear as much as it tucks down below your waistband between your underwear and your jean shorts. Lets face it, Thunder-concealed-reverse-fannypack doesn't have the same zip. Thunderwear is a new approach to concealed carry holsters, and is not like anything else I have yet to see on the market. The basic design looks much more like a nail apron than anything else. An elastic waistband, secured by velcro at either side, wraps around the wearer's middle, just below the navel. The 'apron' portion of the device has several pockets sewn in, suitable for a gun, extra magazines or speed trips, mini-flashlight or Persuader baton.
Seriously... persuader baton. I am not making this up.
Just to prove how awesome and life saving the Thunderwear holster is they're provided us with a nice photo set I like to call "Hedge your Bets".

Damn, I'm impressed. Did you see that guy stop that dude with the bat? (which on second look doesn't really look like a bat. I think it might be rolled up cardboard with a duct tape handle) That was intense!
Ok, Thunderwear you've almost sold me. Do you have any owner testimonials? That would really seal the deal.
"Went swimming with my Colt Mustang today, I forgot I was Packing, LUV IT, but was very embarrassed at the pool" R.R. Orlando Florida.
Oh Double R, I can't count the number of times I've been embarrassed by my "gun" at the pool. It's the cold water I swear!

Babies and Guns; a combo that can't lose

I love my son, but lets face it in a robot-zombie apocalypse he's worthless. At least he was worthless. Once I hook him up with one of these mini-gun toting cradles he's a ruthless killing machine.
I do have a couple reservations about these prototypes. I'm worried about the turning radius on the stroller, It looks like the front axle is fixed. Also the lack of a 5 point harness is cause for concern. Still, these things sure beat the hell out of a BOB.
