The Slowest Beer Mile Ever

Katie Nolan of the show Garbage Time on Fox Sports 1 (which I'm told is a thing, but I wouldn't know since it's buried on the super premium tier of Dish Network) decided to tape herself running the Beer Mile. It looks awful, yet at the same time I can't help but wonder if I couldn't beat her time of 35:25. If you drank a beer after the first lap I think I'd be ok. I don't know why but three beers seems doable but four beers just seems like lunacy.

Beer Delivering Rabbits are a thing now

There is probably a more practical way to get a beer than having a rabbit deliver it to you via push cart but I'm 100% sure they aren't as adorable. I wonder if it works with domestics and imports? It would be a shame to go through all that work and then figure out little bunny foo foo can't make with the Red Stripe

New Beer Mile World Record!

James Nielsen, who just happens to be a former collegiate long distance runner, has set the new world's record for the Beer Mile at 4:57. If you're unfamiliar with the beer mile it's basically you run around the track a lap, chug a beer and repeat until you puke or hit a mile, whichever comes first. It's pretty impressive when you think about it. I don't think I could even drink 4 beers in 5 minutes.

There should be a sprinters version of this. Like the 4 shot 400. run 100 yards down a shot, run 100 yards down a shot, run 100 yards down a shot, fall on your face.

This Game of Thrones beer commercial parody is pretty good. It's not great but it's good. It's like the Doran Martell of Game of Thrones beer commercial parodies. He's no Tywin Lannister but he's a hell of a lot better than Renly or Stannis.

Beercade replaces arcade coin slots with beer taps. This is a fabulous idea. I hate the fact that it uses some stupid original fighting game set in a bar and not something like Street Fighter II or King of Fighters 98. Still and arcade cabinet that give the victor beer? Put your quarters up!

German liquor company pours its alcohol down models’ bare breasts before bottling. That is disgusting. Now allow me to rant off tangent. Blogger/Google in their infinite wisdom has changed the way you upload pictures. It's great for suckers that are uploading from picasa or just accept whatever default sizes blogger thinks you need but for people with a pretty unique skin like mine it's a giant pain in the ass. Seriously google get your act together, don't make me move all this nonsense to wordpress.

The Tesla Model S has terrible battery range. No it doesn't the writer manipulated the test drive. No he didn't the battery range really is as bad as he said. Sorry that's a lot of links, but this story is really interesting. There are a lot of people out there that think Tesla is the future of automobiles. Mostly they're the same people that think GM killed the electric car due to pressure from the oil companies, not because the car itself was kinda awful and super expensive. One day Tesla might actually be the future but they have to make sure that their cars won't die when it's cold out before that happens.

Before this morning I had never even heard of Carlton Draught, now they're my favorite beer ever. Ok maybe not my favorite beer ever. I really like that Bud Lite with lime.. man that stuff is delish.

Christmas List: Wyndham Dual Beverage Dispenser

Every Day in December I plan on posting on thing from my official DevilDinosaur Christmas Wish List (patent pending). Why? Because I can.

Today's object of holiday desire is the Wyndham HouseTM Dual Beverage Dispenser Backpack. I can't tell you how many times I've been drinking Pilsner from my cammelback when I get a huge craving for a nice hard cider. The Wyndham gives you a yard of two delicious beverages of your choice. Loren, I'd recommend Miller Light and Bud Light.
