Oh @#$%, DC Is Animating Dark Knight Returns. How is this not a thing already? When you look at all the mediocre animated movies Warner Bros has released over the last 5 years, how is it no one thought about doing a version of The Dark Knight Returns? Everyone over there can’t be that stupid, can they?
10 uninhabited islands and why nobody lives on them. I love abandoned things and a bunch of the islands on this list have been abandoned for some reason or another. Have you seen the trailer for that movie about a bunch of kids that go to Chernobyl? Man that looks fantastic. Someday when I’m old but not quite frail I’d love to tour a bunch of abandoned cities. Hopefully without getting attacked by mutants or zombies or whatever.
The 10 most legally and illegally downloaded TV shows. Who’s pirating Dexter, or Big Bang Theory? Dexter is terrible and isn’t BBT on Hulu? Here’s the deal with pirating, put your shows on line (I’m looking at you AMC) and no one will pirate them. Which would you rather have guaranteed ad revenue through Hulu or guaranteed torrents?
Also on a related note, how long are we from internet ads costing more than traditional over the air advertising? The only thing I watch live these days is the news and sports, everything else I run through the DVR, so I don’t watch any ads. But every morning when I watch last nights Colbert Report on-line I have to watch the advertisements. Those commercials should cost bank, because they’re the only ones I feel like I’m forced to sit through these days.
