Just in case the Avengers premiere tonight wasn't enough comic book movie for you, here's the third trailer for the Amazing Spider-Man. I don't know, I think it looks pretty cool. Word on the street is Sony thinks it's awful, not that that means anything, studio execs are morons. They rushed the movie into production to keep the rights from reverting back to Marvel so if it sucks they have no one to blame but themselves.
It's really too bad that the bankruptcy Marvel went through in '97 forced them to play fast and loose with the movie rights to their characters. A Spider-Man cameo in Iron Man or the Avengers would be pretty sweet but I'd settle for just getting the X-men out of the evil clutches of the incompetent boobs at Fox.
