Everyone on the Internet it's officially official. JJ Abrams has been hired to direct Star Wars VII: The Wrath of the Endless Lens Flare joke. I guess this is news I'm supposed to care about but I don't. Abrams is a perfectly serviceable director. He's no Señor Spielbergo but it's not a complete hack either. Still it's hard for me to work up any excitement for new Star Wars movies, even with Disney at the helm. I mean, have you seen Cars 2? ugh.
Wake me when they cast Grand Admiral Thrawn. That's when I'll start getting excited.
