Christmas Wish List: Christmas Spirit

Hey kids it's December! You know what that means? Every day in December I plan on posting one thing from my official DevilDinosaur Christmas Wish List (patent pending). Why? Because I can.

Did you know there are like 7 days left until Christmas? Where the F is my Christmas Spirit? I mean I've watched a couple made for TV Christmas movies and been to a couple holiday parties but for whatever reason it just doesn't feel like Christmas yet. This is supposed to be my favorite time of the year, what's wrong with me? Watch, the second I start really getting in the Christmas groove it'll be Dec 26th.

Mega Rocktober Links

How LucasArts Fell Apart. WOW If you ever played Full Throttle, Monkey Island or any of the X-Wing games go read this. It's ok I'll be here when you get back. I know the article is specific to LucasArts but a lot of video game houses have gone out of business or been bought up by EA over the last few years and this article gives some really good insight as to why. $100 Million to develop a Star Wars themed GTA clone? That's crazy money. We're light years away from Lord British developing games alone in his mom's basement.

Also I'd like to point out that it's mentioned that the Star Wars 1313 trailer that debuted at E3 in 2012 totes was running on next generation console tech, just as I thought in my post about it. Go me.

Forever 21 and Batman finally team up. I'm not going to lie to you, there's a strong chance my wife gets this sweater for Christmas. I mean the rest of the clothes they have are really awful but this sweater is pretty boss.

I Watched the Esquire Network for 24 Hours Straight. The New Esquire Network is supposed to be the network for the sophisticated male. Good luck with that. Remember when TLC was The Learning Channel? I predict in 2 years ESQ will be known as the go to place for Cops and Two and a Half Men reruns.

If Bill Gates really thinks ctrl-alt-del was a mistake, he should have fixed it himself. I know why ctrl-alt-del was used as the hard reset by IBM but I had no idea why Microsoft adopted it to do such critical tasks as log into your computer and pretend to bring up task manager while you wait for 20 minutes.. Now I do.

The Qatar World Cup Is A Moral Shit Show. Did you know Qatar uses near slave labor and they have zero safety standards? Go Soccer!

These swimsuits have a high midichlorian count

Australia based Black Milk Clothing made quite the name for themselves last year when they made this nerd-tastic R2-D2 swimsuit. In what I can only assume is an homage to George Lucas, they have since decided to milk this gravy train until the train runs dry. Last week they added an R2-D2 dress and a Han Solo swimsuit to their clothing line.

These are cool and all, for whatever reason I particularly like the Han Solo swimsuit it looks a lot like a shirt I have. When are these guys going to make some swimwear for guys? I'd totally rock a pair of board shorts with that R2 design. If there's anything I learned in high school it's that white swim trunks are always classy and rarely ever see through.

Cowabunga

Hey Nerds, do you have 35 dollars burning a hole in your pocket and a girlfriend who doesn't mind if you dress her up like a g-d Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle? Well you're in luck because Etsy seller sceeneshoes has the handpainted Bra for you.

Seriously, whoever buys this is either totes awesome or a complete freakshow. There's just no middle ground here.

finally someone made Tetris sexy

These Tetris leggings from Black Milk finally bring a little sexy time to everyone's favorite cold war era soviet classic. I'm not sure they're worth the $75 plus shipping Black Milk is asking for, but sometimes you have to pay to play (I have no idea what that means).
