New Wing Commander Star Citizen Trailer

Ever sat around with a bunch of guys complaining about the lack of aweseome space combat games like Wing Commander or X-Wing vs Tie Fighter? Well good news everybody! Chris Roberts (of Wing Commander and Privateer fame) is working on a new game, Star Citizen.

Details are still a bit scarce, but they have this real fancy looking trailer. Chris Roberts says Star Citizen will help revitalize both PC Gaming and the space sim genre. If I had to turn on the speculatron I'd say there will be some sandbox style missions and on-line play. In the past most space sims are pretty linear, so a bit more flexibility in mission selection would be a nice update. I also wouldn't be surprised if a bit of RPG gets thrown in there, customization paired with leveling up seems to be the big thing these days. Either way I'm looking forward to it.
