If you haven't seen any of the trailers for Fox's new show Terra Nova here you are. The premise of the show is that in the future mankind has ruined the planet (thanks for nothing Al Gore) and to save the human race some crazy scientists send a bunch of humans back in time (Jurassic age I believe). It's like Wagon Train meets Land of the Lost (yeah I just used a Wagon train reference, I'm old get over it).
I really really want to like this show. I mean it's dinosaurs! And humans fighting them with machine guns. How can you not love that premise? But so far the early buzz is that it's awful. Like Viva Laughlin awful. I'm really hoping that's not the case. Imagine if this thing's a hit. Soon we'll have knock off shows all over the schedule. Dinosaurs could be the next teenage vampires or zombies. In fact they could be the next teenage vampire zombies (how is that not already a thing?).
