Good Gravy this is the awesomest thing ever. Here I was worried that my son was going to have to grow up only knowing Bayformers and GI Wayans. Seeing an updated Battleship Yamato movie (or Star Blazers for any of us this side of the pacific) gives me hope that my kid will have at least one nerdy thing not terrible to enjoy as he grows up.

My proudest accomplishment as a 7 year old was twice watching Blazers completely through without missing an episode. Not easy pre-VCR. How I found the time every morning before school is beyond me.
