Literally Everything Else From Your Childhood: The Movie

Another day another fake movie trailer. This one for Literally Everything Else From Your Childhood: The Movie is from the Wil Wheaton project. Anyone watching that show? It's actually pretty funny but it has a weird time slot and I keep missing it. With Dish Network most of the big cable channels are the east coast feed so all the 8pm shows come on at 5pm. It's great for watching wrestling and pretty much terrible for everything else. I'm old so I'm always watching the news at 5pm. I'm always missing South Park and that other show I like on Commedy Central.... Key and Peele? Sure lets say Key and Peele.

When Wil Wheaton says you're worse than hitler..

The other day on some BBC show Wil Wheaton said "the Kardashians are more depressing to me than Hitler", all while that guy from Singled Out sat there looking like a jerk in his bow tie/sweater combo. It was pretty funny so I thought I'd share. That's my new thing for 2012, I'm going to try and share more.

Even more Cosplay from this year's Emerald City Comic Con

yay friendship!

As advertised, here's some more cosplay from the 2011 Emerald City Comic-Con. Sorry I didn't get these up faster, I was to busy working on my son's Wolverine costume for next year. For whatever reason Logan refuses to grow out his sideburns, so we're going to have to go with fake ones. He's never going to get anywhere with this kind of diva attitude.

I'm not sure if this was Batman or a cop in riot gear.

This must have happened before Joker shot Batgirl.

Continuity errors everywhere!

I like the idea that Boba Fett started bounty hunting in elementary school

best deadpool ever

Emma Frost costumes always look cold.

Boba's extended family?

female booster gold? why I never..

"quick someone's stealing from the quarter bin. Avengers Assemble!"

Spot on Rogue, this might be the best costume of the entire con.

I don't remember Scooby being that small, or Velma that hot.

great Tony Stark. Sometimes simple beats elaborate.

more continuity errors!

My son and I are going to ruin these guys as Sabertooth and Wolverine.

maaakkkee ooouuuuutttt

I want to give credit where credit is due. I found all these awesome pics on various flickr streams and google image searches. Here are the links.

2011 Emerald City Comic Con was Super Cosplayriffic

So this weekend saw another Emerald City Comic Con and another missed opportunity to have Wil Wheaton sign my baby (toddler now). There's always next year I guess. Last year I promised myself that I'd go for sure this year but for whatever reason I didn't even know it was happening this weekend until the day before. I'm sure there's some sort of "Forest for all the trees" kind of lesson to be learned there but whatever man, lets make with the cosplayers!

It's pretty hard to stump me, I get the baroness but I have no idea who capey mccaperson is. Probably Black Canary she's had a hundred super generic costumes.

Amazing Chun-li. She even got the thighs right!

Doc Sampson probably seemed like an easier costume before he had to dye his hair green. oh yeah, good Black Widow (who was very popular this year) too.

My only problem here is that Hit Girl isn't jailbaity enough.

Dark Helmet! awesome.

I'm not gay if I look at this picture and think that Robin costume is awesome am I?

There's actually a family of 4 in this. true story

I like that Hellboy advertises on his own shirt.

An Asian Captain Mal seems right.. right?

Hey, it's my son in 6 years.

I think this is Final Fantasy something. I have no idea, I only play FPSs. Pew Pew!

Great Black Canary, and the other two um.. they have nice posture. I mean posture's important right?

I like that this guy nailed wolverine's height. go short guys!

I want to give credit where credit is due. I found all these awesome pics on various flickr streams and google image searches. Here's the links.

Ok, the 2010 Emerald City Comic Con really did have some awesome cosplay

If he's offering you Romulan Ale don't drink it!

There seemed to be a lot of really bad wolverines, this guy was great.

Psyclocke just as most artists draw her, not asian.

Science officers are always looking for bad boys.

If these two are mother/daughter then it's a win. if not then I'm sorry.

This was me in my Wil Wheaton outfit. I signed 43 autographs before they threw me out.

If only the pumpkin bombs were the right size this would be amazing.

Dr. Strange must have used some "magic" on Psylocke. Magic = Roofies

This is better than any scene from Episode II.

The Silent Hill girls are what Taz would call Zombie Hot.

Hands down my favorite.

Awesomer when you realize these two are 4 feet tall.

Finally a Spider-Man without unfortunate looking crotch bulge.. not that I'm looking.

The masquerade winner. It's pretty bad ass.

Looks a little too much like Episode III Chewbacca, but I won't hold that against him.

Willow?! God Bless the nerds.

Sheldon totally wants his lamp back.

Once you realize who this is it's pretty awesome.

Get him Doom, kill Emo-Spidey!

I take back what I said about the tusken raider. New Favorite

Ok so Voltron Girl wasn't at this con, but I had to use this picture somewhere.
