Rampage Trailer: A thing That Exists

I have no idea what studio executive was tripping balls enough to green light a live action movie based off the old Rampage video game franchise but God bless him. Or her, could easily have been a lady.

This is amazing, I mean Rampage hasn't been relevant in years and here we are, it's staring The Rock for pete's sake. What a time to be alive, outside of the political mess that's on the brink of ruining everything for everyone, if you were a geek in the 80s and 90s you couldn't ask for more. All those nerds are adults now and they're just churning out the most self-indulgent, nostalgic, media your 12 year old self could have possibly hoped for.

I mean if they can make a Rampage movie the sky's the limit. We're 6 months away from a Alf Pog 12 part mini-series on HBO.

Xbox exclusive action game Scalebound has been canceled. Well this is too bad. Scalebound looked kinda cool, Skyrim but with friends and floating castles, what's not to love there? It was from the studio that did Bayonetta which I just picked up for like $12 on the WiiU and that game is the bomb.com. Hopefully this doesn't bode poorly for other hotly anticipated Microsoft studios titles. I'm excited for this whole PC/Xbox synergy thing they announced last year. Get me some semi-exclusive PC titles stat.

People still use the Amiga today, and new Viva Amiga documentary shows why. I'm pretty sure I've never used an Amiga before. I'm familiar with the computer and I remember people who had them really liked them, but I'm near positive I've never had the pleasure. Still, I'm all in on this documentary. I'm a sucker for anything about old technology like this and the people that are obsessed over it.

All the Major Star Wars Cameos and Connections You May Have Missed in Rogue One. I know this is like 3 weeks old but who cares? My wife still hasn't seen Rogue One and I'm really eager to see it a second time in the theater. In fact now that I'm typing this out there's a small chance I posted this already right before I went on vacation. Oh well, no stopping now!

Did you know they're remaking Jumanji with The Rock and Kevin Hart? Also Karen Gillan is there with a really short skirt and Jack Black in a hat.

Now let me be clear about this. I like Kevin Hart, I like The Rock, I like Karen Gillan, I like Jack Black but this is the worst thing to happen ever. Maybe worse than Trump becoming president. Why couldn't they just make a sequel to The Rundown?

Explosion levels Greenwood Buildings. Scary news this morning from North Seattle. It looks like a gas leak lead to an explosion that leveled 2 buildings. My old comic book shop is right around the corner from all of this and most likely suffered a bit of damage.

Random gas explosions like this are terrifying because how do you stop it? What do you do to prevent it? Some 30 year old gas line breaks and boom there goes your house/place of work? Great... now I'm going to spend the next month worrying about my gas furnace and water tank.

Dana White Says Holly Holm Fucked Up By Not Waiting For Ronda Rousey Rematch. Good on Dana White for building UFC into what it is today but sweet Christmas this guy is a huge windbag. Rousey wouldn't put a date on a rematch and Holm is 34 years old. How long can she wait to get paid? If she beats Tate last weekend she makes even more money on a Ronda Rousey Rematch. Dana White's just upset because of all the money he lost by not having Holm wait for Rousey.

We're talking Game of Thrones. The whole thing is little details. Can't wait to see more Ser Robert the Strong.... wait, Robert the Stong? CleganeBowl CONFIRMED!

Alexandra Daddario and The Rock on the Set of Baywatch. A Baywatch movie sounded like an awful idea right up to the point where I saw these pictures. Now it's easily the most anticipated movie of the decade. Star Wars who?

A newer, longer (that's what she said) trailer for GI Joe: Retaliation hit the web this morning. 2 words: Rocket Motorcycle. Seriously, this looks a thousand times better than the assy Rise of Cobra. How do you make a movie with Sienna Miller as the Baroness suck so bad?

BTW, prepare to read me bitching about the new Blogger dashboard all week long. I know my work computer is slow (Pentium 4 baby!) but it's barely even usable. Right now I've been typing for about 45 seconds and still nothing's even shown up on the screen. Damn it Google, it's crap like this why I bought a windows phone.

The Rock returns to the WWE. I can't believe I was watching robots play Jeopardy last night while the Rock was on Raw. Thank goodness one of those ghetto HD networks replays Raw on the weekends.

Hands on Preview of Duke Nukem Forever. This is still all a joke right? I mean there's no way they ever release this thing is there? I feel like if I play both Diablo 3 and Duke Nukem Forever this year it will cause a tear in the space time continuum.

The Fast and the Furious just got The People's Elbow

Tyrse Gibson reported on his twitter that the Rock has signed on to be in the next Fast and the Furious movie, which I assume will be called Fast and Furiouser. Maybe 5ast and 5urious, either way I'm cool.

Equally shocking to the casting of The Rock is that Tyrese claims he's going to be in the movie too. Assumably he'll be reprising his role of Roman Pierce from 2 Fast 2 Furious. No word as of yet who will be driving the car when they land it on a boat, again.
