Christmas Wish List: Trip to the Superbowl

Every day in December I plan on posting one thing from my official DevilDinosaur Christmas Wish List (patent pending). Why? Because I can.

Did you see the Seahawks crush the 49ers last night? It's hard to believe this was the same team that got beat by Arizona on opening day. I know we're probably not going to win the NFC west but we've already clinched a wildcard spot and they way that we're playing I don't think a couple wins in the playoffs are out of the question.

The Seahawks have only been to the Superbowl once in their history and they're one of like 14 teams to never have won it. Is it really too much to ask that they bring home the first championship trophy to Seattle in over 30 years?

Not good enough for the LFL

Did you see the Seahawks smash the Packers on Monday Night Football? I've been told there was a controversial call near the end of the game.

Monday seems to have been the tipping point as far as everyone venting their anger over the current replacement referee situation in the NFL. So far no one has really hit the league with as much haughty sarcasm as the Lingerie Football League has. That's right, the Lingerie Football League. Take it away buzzfeed blogging monkey:

After the disaster that was last night's Monday Night Football game, the Lingerie Football League decided it could no longer stay quiet on the subject of replacement refs. They released a statement on Facebook that confirmed a story from earlier this year that revealed some of the NFL's replacement officials may have been fired by the underwear-based league. This is their statement, creative syntax and all, presented by photos of the LFL.

So there you are. The current crop of NFL officials aren't qualified to officiate a game where women play in their underwear. Go Seahawks!

I've been trying to come up with something clever to say about this for the last 20 minutes but lets just cut to the quick. It's a rap song all about the Seattle Seahawks that features an Optimus Prime look-a-like called Hawktimus. It's awful in every way.

Seriously the best thing about this rap is the wheaties box that shows up around the 1:46 mark. Well that and this awesome Optimus Prime cosplay. Which coincidentaly looks like it might have been made from wheaties boxes.
