The tag at the top of my blog says "art" in it so I figured it was about time to talk art. This is the third part in a 6 part series on my favorite comic artist of the 1980s (what you thought I'd be comparing monet and manet?).

John Buscema wrote the book on drawing comics. Well actually he drew the book on drawing comics, Marvel's "How to draw comics the Marvel way". There's not much to add after that. He was a master storyteller and had a style and technique that became definitive of what Marvel comics were about.

Marvel has at least one "Visionaries" book with his work. You can also find some really great Conan tpbs he drew and some really excellent Avengers books. The Mansion seige saga being maybe his most well know and would be the first I'd recommend.
