Here's a list of the top 10 selling cars in the US, for May of 09. Keep this list in mind the next time some blowhard who has it out for the auto industry tells you that US automakers don't build cars Americans want.
1.) Ford F-Series: 33,381
2.) Chevy Silverado: 31,463
3.) Toyota Camry: 31,325
4.) Toyota Corolla: 23,576
5.) Honda Accord: 22,597
6.) Honda Civic: 20,723
7.) Ford Fusion: 19,786
8.) Chevy Impala: 18,709
9.) Nissan Altima: 18,408

As it turns out US automakers do build cars american's want (unless your name's chrysler), they just don't know how to run their businesses.
Who's buying all these Impalas? My grandparents? I could understand the new Malibu. From everything I've heard it's a great car, but the impala?
